Every year in late April and May, when the mulberries are ripening on the tree beside our house, there are constant sorties of bats starting a little while after dark. We don't know where they live, but there every few seconds bats come to the tree, sometimes several at a time, where they feast on the mulberries.
Sara Deutch, a very talented photographer, came over and took these wonderful photos from our kitchen window.
